Where will I be staying? Nestled on the border of Berkshire and Surrey, the Macdonald Frimley Hall Hotel & Spa oozes instant charm within 3 acres of lush landscaped heaven. Each detail of its timeless design is picture perfect; from fancy, ornately carved Victorian staircases, to rooms that throw you straight into your favourite period drama. The room chronicles You’ll be spoilt for choice getting yourself some shut eye, as the hotel boasts 98 luxury bedrooms - all with air cooling facilities so you feel fresh as a daisy, and all equipped with a flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi (don’t forget your Facebook check-in!). You can always take the leading role in your make-believe BBC drama by booking an upgrade – giving you some extra comforts for an even swankier stay. This hotel’s great because… There’s a techno gym to get your heart racing, a 17-metre swimming pool to splash around in, and a sauna, steam room and beauty treatment rooms for some “you time”. For an additional charge, you can bring along your dog, who will enjoy the paw-fect (we couldn’t help ourselves) run-around in the hotel gardens. Wining and dining From a hotel like this you’d expect some fine British food, and the award-winning Linden Restaurant with an AA Rosette under its belt it doesn’t disappoint. Take your favourite people and they’ll be smiling from ear to ear (or that could just be the effect of the wine from the impressive list on offer). Good things don’t always come easy though, so make sure you book, as the restaurant can get busy! The Gold Lounge offers light snacks and traditional afternoon tea, while the Sandhurst Bar provides the cheeky pre-and-post dinner beverages. Exploring the neighbourhood You won’t be short of things to do with Royal Ascot, Legoland, Windsor Castle, Thorpe Park, Wisley Royal Gardens, Virginia Water (the list goes on…) just a short road trip away. The hotel is handily positioned for access to the M3 and M25, and London is a close(ish) neighbour - with Heathrow Airport just 16 miles away, and a 1 hour 15-minute train ride from the nearby Camberley station into Central London. In a nutshell: Will charm the socks off you
