For over 300 years the Dawes family have lovingly cared for the house and gardens and today they present one of the breathtaking spots in the south-east of England. 10 acres of classical gardens lie within an 800-acre farm with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Sitting at the top of the hill is the late-Victorian manor house, featuring the West Wing Kitchen and impressive, sweeping staircase into the main hall. Mount Ephraim’s beauty is romantically historical in nature. But while the family is careful to preserve that traditional heart to the estate, we do not restrict ourselves to the sedate and reserved. We host all kind of events, weddings and special occasions – from traditional receptions to large-scale concerts like the upcoming ‘A New Day’ festival in 2016. Come and enjoy what the estate has to offer – and if you’re interested in holding your wedding or event here, get in touch. We’re very flexible and accommodating.
