Additionally, the hotel offers a 2500 sq foot spa with treatments by ESPA, conference facilities complimented with a 140 seater Ballroom perfect for an elegant wedding and a Resident’s bar. We have two dining rooms for you to choose from. Our Brasserie is open for both lunch and dinner. Our taster menu is available in Artistry from Tuesday to Saturday inclusive, and available from March 2018 with menu created from award winning chef John Shuttleworth. Both restaurants use where possible ingredients are locally produced from responsible and sustainable sources. Situated in Matlock Bath, Derbyshire, the New Bath Hotel is on the border of the Peak District National Park and overlooks Derwent Gorge. The New Bath Hotel is situated in the picturesque surroundings of Matlock Bath in Derbyshire. The area of Matlock Bath is nestled on the borders of the Peak District and gained notoriety in the 17th century as a revitalising spa area. The New Bath Hotel was built over the New Baths in 1802 at the peak of the area’s fame, taking its name from the waters and incorporating the spa into the structure. Today, the four-star New Bath Hotel remains a beautiful Regency-style building set into five acres of manicured gardens. The hotel's 54 bedrooms are large and bright. Each room provides guests with either a twin or queen sized bed. All rooms are fitted with LCD tv, complimentary Wifi and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms have private bathrooms with a large bath and power shower. The village of Matlock Bath is also still a popular visitor destination and has many attractions close by. Chatsworth House, one of the UK's most beautiful country homes, is a short drive and contains a formidable collection of historic artworks and furniture, but is particularly renowned for its period gardens. Alternatively, a family day out can be found at Gulliver’s Kingdom, a theme park built into the hills of Matlock Bath. The park contains a good selection of rides largely suitable for younger children. Thrill-seekers will however prefer Alton Towers, a short drive away. Please note the indoor pool is under renovation until the end of 2018. Just a little information about our brand new spa for you to consider. We would like to let you know that our spa consists of a hot tub, sauna, steam room and treatment rooms. To access the spa you will need to book a treatment, this will entitle you to 2 hours use of the facilities within the spa.
