Founded in 1897, Northampton Town are nicknamed the Cobblers. They rose from the fourth tier to the top flight in only five seasons, playing their sole First Division campaign in 1965-66.Home of Northamptonshire County Cricket Club. Northampton Town FC played home games here between 1897 and 1994.
